Bangkok-based shibari rope artist — a rigger, or nawashi, who ties. Wabi-sabi meets contemporary performance: rope drawn like calligraphy on her models, on stage and on set. She also teaches shibari workshops. Also available, separately, as a model.

一01 — The artist
“Tie mean loves to me.”
Bunny — known as Usagi Shibari (うさぎ縛り) — is a Bangkok-based rope artist: a rigger (縄師, nawashi) working in the Japanese art of shibari. She is the one who ties.
Drawing on a deep love of Japanese culture, her work moves between two worlds: the quiet, meticulous craft of jute rope on tatami, and the charged atmosphere of Bangkok’s event and club stages. On stage she designs and ties every piece on her models, from floor work to full suspension; on set she ties and directs rope shoots for photographers and brands. The people in her rope are guest models — not Bunny.
Separately, Bunny also works in front of the lens as a model — editorial, kimono and fashion — bookable on its own.
With a combined Instagram audience of more than 60,000 followers across @usagi.shibari and @bunny.usagiii, she is available for stage performances, festivals, photo shoots and brand collaborations.

Apart from her work as a rigger, Bunny is available to model herself — for photographers, designers and brands who want her look, presence and feel for Japanese styling.

Bunny teaches shibari in Bangkok, from first-ever ties to stronger foundations for people who already tie. She demonstrates and guides; you practise on a partner you bring or with fellow students. Every class starts with safety and communication before any rope goes on.
